Plug Valve

Plug Valve

A Plug Valve is a quarter-turn valve used to control or isolate fluid flow. It contains a cylindrical or tapered plug with a hole through it, which rotates 90Β° to open or close the flow. When the hole aligns with the pipeline, fluid passes; when turned, the flow stops. Plug valves provide quick operation and tight shut-off. They are commonly used in oil & gas, chemical, and process industries.

Application:

Plug valves are versatile, quarter-turn rotary valves used for, or primarily to achieve, tight, on-off, or directional flow control, particularly for slurries, liquids, and gases in industrial applications. They are highly effective in oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment, and power generation systems, especially when handling corrosive, high-pressure, or abrasive materials.
